As soon as Paris Hilton returned from her trip to China, the socialite was spotted leaving a beauty salon in Beverly Hills sporting a darker skin tone.

The hotel heiress, who spent two days touring China's commercial capital before Friday night's gala awards for Chinese style and fashion trendsetters, was in need of a break, especially after being accused of leaking pictures from Nicole Richie’s baby shower last week, which she hosted.

According to New York Daily News, the "Simple Life" star asked as much as $4,000 for "pirated" photos from the shower, which was covered exclusively by InStyle magazine.

"All the photos that were offered had Paris right in the center of them, as the star. They look set up," a source said adding that it was the attention Paris sought not the money.

However, Paris’ publicist strongly rejected the rumors explaining that many of the guests carried camera phones with them and it could have been anyone.

"Paris was a hostess of the shower, which a large number of people attended. Many of these guests were taking photos with camera phones... there is no way she had anything to do with this," her spokesperson said.

The photos reportedly worth around $3,000 to $4,000 weren’t published since the celebrity tabloids closed early last week, due to Thanksgiving.

The "Wizard of Oz" themed baby bash held at the Beverly Hills Hotel was organized by celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss, hosted by Richie's mother Brenda, and thrown by her sister Sophia and friends Paris and Masha Gordon. The party was attended by more than 90 people, including Nicole’s fiancée "Good Charlotte" singer Joel Madden, "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad, DJ Samantha Ronson and Rashida Jones.
