Fashion icon Twiggy, a judge on CW’s “America's Next Top Model” for the past two years, has been replaced with 1990s supermodel Paulina Porizkova for its tenth edition.

Today the CW announced that 1960s British supermodel Twiggy would not be returning for cycle 10 of the reality television show “America’s Next Top Model.” The network was quite succinct in announcing Twiggy’s departure, citing “scheduling conflict” as the reason.

The CW released this statement Monday: “We would like to thank Twiggy for her great contributions to the show. Having an icon like Twiggy lend us her considerable expertise has elevated our show to a whole new level. We wish her well in her endeavors and hope to collaborate with her in future cycles of ANTM as well as other projects.”

Former supermodel Paulina Porizkova will be replacing her on the panel. At the height of her career, during the 1990s, People magazine named her twice among its 50 Most Beautiful People.

She has graced the covers of magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle and Glamour. Paulina also crossed the line from catwalk to movie set, appearing in such films as Emir Kusturica’s 1993 fantasy film “Arizona Dream,” which starred Johnny Depp, Faye Dunaway and Jerry Lewis.

Paulina is also a published writer and has proven her dancing skills on last season's “Dancing With The Stars.” She and her partner Alex Mazo were voted out first.

Ken Mok, executive producer of “America's Next Top Model,” said of Paulina’s joining the project: “We are thrilled to have Paulina as a part of this cycle’s judging panel. The show and participants will benefit a great deal from her vast modeling knowledge and expertise.”

Paulina will judge contestants along with host Tyra Banks, fashion photographer Nigel Barker (a judge since cycle two) and runway coach J. Alexander.

The Czech-born supermodel has been married to The Cars lead singer Ric Ocasek since 1989. They met during the filming for The Cars’ 1984 music video, “Drive.”
