The troubled British singer announced the cancellation of her ongoing U.K. tour, as well as all promotional appearances, following a series of emotional outbursts and disappointing performances, blaming the absences of her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in jail.

"I can’t give it my all onstage without my Blake. I’m so sorry but I don’t want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same," the singer said in a statement released Tuesday.

Maybe it’s for the best that all 16 remaining concerts in the tour have been cancelled, considering her frail and barely coherent state she was in during her most recent performances, not to mention the sell-out Bournemouth gig she skipped entirely.

In addition, Amy’s concert promoter Live Nation confirmed the cancellation regarding to Amy’s health condition.

"Amy Winehouse has cancelled all remaining live and promotional appearances for the remainder of the year on the instruction of her doctor. The rigors involved in touring and the intense emotional strain that Amy has been under in recent weeks have taken their toll. In the interests of her health and well-being, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues. Her family has requested that the media respect Amy’s privacy at this time. There will be no further comment."

According to BBC, a spokesperson for Live Nation said there were no plans to reschedule the nixed gigs and that fans should return their tickets to the outlet where they had purchased them for a full refund.

Fielder-Civil, 25, was arrested earlier in November on one count of "attempting to pervert the court of justice" in connection with an alleged $400,000 plot to fix a trial after police raided his and Winehouse's London home. He is set to spend the next couple of months behind bars awaiting a hearing on January 18, when a judge will decide whether his case will go to trial.

In the meantime, Fielder-Civil reportedly asked his wife to check into rehab while he’s locked away in jail. According to his mother, Georgette Civil, Blake believes this is the perfect moment for Amy to get clean.

"He's already stopped taking drugs. He's missing Amy desperately and he wants her to get help. He has told her she needs to go into rehab," the 42-year-old said.

"This is Amy's opportunity to sort herself out too and I've strongly suggested to her that rehab would be a very good idea because this continual bad behavior has to stop," she added.
