"High School Musical" hottie Ashley Tisdale showed off her new nose on Friday at the Z100 Jingle Ball concert in Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The 22-year-old actress underwent nose surgery on November 30 to correct a deviated septum, and to have her nose realigned, she claims.
Although she was still a little in pain as her nose was slightly swollen, Tisdale took the stage to perform at the charity event to benefit Autism Speakers.
The starlet, whose nose got broken twice, once in a car crash and once while dancing, announced she was going under the knife in an interview with People magazine, explaining she’s "known for years that I’ve had a deviated septum," adding that while on tour with "High School Musical," her condition became more serious determining her to have the surgery.
"I was so out of breath, I started hyperventilating," Tisdale said. "They were thinking it was a heart attack. The [tour] doctor got me an oxygen tank and I sat outside the stage and breathed in oxygen until I could catch my breath."
According to the plastic surgeon who performed the procedure, Tisdale’s septum was 80 percent deviated.
"If I laid down on my right side it was like somebody closed up the right side of my nose," Tisdale said.
"Functionally her nose is better and cosmetically it's better because I got rid of the effects of the [injuries]," said famed doctor Raj Kanodia, who also performed rhinoplasty procedures for Hollywood actresses Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz.
Speaking to People magazine about her new nose, Tisdale said: "I like the way it looks. It is like it was when I was a little girl."
"I like that it still looks like me," she added.
