Rapper Pitbull was arrested in Miami
after he was stopped by police for speeding early Friday morning. According to
an arrest report, he was charged for driving under influence(DUI), MTV.com
reports.
The Latino 26-year-old rapper was detained around 3.14 a.m. Friday morning for driving a silver
Mecedez Benz at a speed of 93 miles per hour in a zone with a 55 miles per hour
limit, Contactmusic.com informs.
Pitbull, Armando Perezon on his real name, passed by a
police car and was stopped for speeding. He was asked to exit the vehicle, but he
faied to answer, according to a Miami-Dade Police Department.
Before he answered the commands, police officers had to
repeat three times to exit the car.
The report said that Pitbull finally answered saying:
"Come on, papo — what's up?" ("Papo" is slang for
"junior.")
Police officers had to explain the rapper the reason for
which he was pulled over, but he anwered them that "this ain't
nothing," and they "were wasting their time."
Police officers detected a strong odour of alchool in his
breath which came over the gum he was chewing. They’ve also observed that his
eyes were bloodshot and watery.
Pitbull was asked to take the sobriety tests which he failed
them and was arrested. He then told the police: "This is a big waste of
your time, papo."
Being in custody Pitbull refused to take a Breathalyzer
test.
Later this Friday he is expected to go before a judge.
Most likely he will be released on $ 1,000 bond.

reaching the #24 in the current Billboard chart for independent album sales.
