Rapper Yung Joc failed to appear on time in court on Wednesday where he was scheduled for a hearing at 8:30 a.m.

Yung Joc, Jasiel Robinson on his real name, was accused on Monday for trying to board on a plane with a loaded gun.

Wednesday he showed up in court seven hours late and left without giving any comment.

After failing to show in court on time, a judge issued a warrant on Robinson’s arrest, but revoked it when he appeared later on that day.

Robinson was charged for carrying a weapon after police found a gun in his carry-bag at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. He was arrested around 6:20 a.m. on Sunday before boarding on a Delta Air Lines flight.

According to police, they’ve found a semiautomatic handgun and ammunition in his carry-bag.

Robinson told them that he had no idea that the gun was there.

On Monday he was released on a $50,000 bail.

Stanley Jackson Jr., Robinson's attorney, told the judge that Robinson wasn’t able to make it due to business and family obligations. He also said that Robinson maintains his innocence, the Associated Press informs.

The Atlanta-based rapper is facing a felony charge for concealing a weapon.

Yesterday, Municipal Judge Michael John Ryan increased his bail to $100,000 when the rapper didn’t show up in court, but then he reduced back to $50,000 after Robinson appeared.

A preliminary hearing was set for January 25.

When he left the courtroom Robinson only said: "Happy New Year."

Robinson’s charge might carry a sentence up to 18 months.

According to Robison’s web site, he has 11 sisters and brothers and spends much of his time in Atlanta.
