In a recent interview with Extra, future mom Jessica Alba revealed that what she fears most is not the act of giving birth but what follows afterwards: breastfeeding.

The 26-year-old actress, who is several months pregnant with her first child, dished on how she’s handling her pregnancy, for the first time since she broke the news.

"It's quite a blessing and perfect timing," the "Sin City" star told Extra at a junket for her new thriller, "The Eye."

Besides the obvious baby bump, Alba’s pregnancy caused other changes in her, such as "a lot more emotions!" she confessed. "Anything could make me incredibly angry or break down crying, and that's not something I'm used to."

Speaking of the baby bump, and the additional weight that comes with it, the actress admitted she intends to keep her baby weight to a minimum.

"I try to eat as healthily as possible and exercise.

"As long as I don't gain too much weight too fast – I think that's the key."

However, lactation expert Susan Condon advised Jessica to put her fears behind her, because breastfeeding is one of the best ways of shedding her post-pregnancy pounds. But breastfeeding might be a problem for Alba, who revealed she’s been having baby dreams/nightmares regarding "breastfeeding which is the only thing I’m paranoid about," she said, "More than giving birth."

The "Fantastic Four" actress announced she was pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend of three years, Cash Warren, in December.

"I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer," her rep said at that time.
