Ethan Hawke to Become a Daddy Again

Actor, Ethan Hawke is about to become a daddy again, this time with Ryan Shawhughes, described as the nanny of his previous two children with Uma Thurman.

“I can confirm and they are thrilled, Hawke’s publicist, Mara Buxbaum told People magazine. “ No further details will be made available,” she further said.

The 37-year-old actor known from his starring in movies like “Training Day,” “Dead Poets Society,” “Great Expectations” and “Before Sunset,” and actress Thurman split up in 2004, after seven years of marriage and have two children together, daughter Maya, 9, and son Levon, 5.

His children bring “the greatest pleasure in my life,” said the actor in an interview in 2006. “It’s the only role that, if I fail, I will consider my life a failure,” he added.

As for Hawke and Shawhughes, they met while she was still working as a nanny for his children with Thurman, but they were not officially “out” as a couple until a year after Hawke and Thurman divorced.

Meanwhile, Thurman has been dating London-based multi-millionaire financier Arpad Busson, who also has two sons from a previous relationship with supermodel Elle Macpherson.

Thurman and Hawke are still leaving only a few blocks away for the sake of their children.

“We live down the street from each other. If we lived down the street from each other in Minneapolis, I’d have to watch every car go in and out of the driveway. I’d know how late she stayed out, Hawke was quote by People. However, he confessed that he did not need “to know any of that stuff.”
