EA Enters The Ring With FaceBreaker

For all the boxing fans and Rocky Balboa wannabes, Electronic Arts has a new surprise. The company, which has already an impressive line-up of sport-inspired video games, announced a new intellectual property, FaceBreaker.

EA said in a statement that the game is under development at EA Canadam the same team that created Fight Night Round 3. Anyone who has a PS3, a Xbox 360 or a Wii, will be able to enjoy throwing some virtual punches to the opponent’s figure.

Probably in order to avoid an M or Adult rating from ESRB, FaceBreaker will offer fun arcade experience with stylized graphics, but nevertheless EA promises a lot of fun.

EA revealed that the players will be able to personalize the boxers by uploading a photo of their faces Photo Game Face, and go toe-to-toe with a real-life friend or foe. As you can see, is very likely that FaceBreaker will include an online multiplayer mode.

Moreover, each boxer will have its unique attributes and distinct personal style. In its press release, EA mentioned something about Romeo, a Latin lover known for his pelvic thrusts, and Molotov, an oversized Russian demolitions expert with a penchant for fighting dirty.

EA also said that one of the games modes will allow to the players to fight with one hand tied to the back to add ultimate humiliation to the opponent.
