'Full House' Star Jodie Sweetin Welcomes Baby Girl

Actress Jodie Sweetin and her husband, set designer Cody Herpin, became the proud parents of a baby girl, Zoie.  Sweetin delivered the baby, weighting in at 8 lbs. 7 oz. and measuring 21 inches long, via C-section on Saturday afternoon.

"Jodie says that she and her husband and family are absolutely thrilled and in love with baby Zoie," Sweetin's rep was quoted by People magazine as saying.

The 26-year-old former child star and her hubby, 30, announced the pregnancy in September 2007. Several months later, in early January 2008, Sweetin revealed her due date and talked about naming her future daughter.

"We’re not naming her after any fruits or electronic devices or anything like that. She’s going to have a fairly normal name. We want something different, something cute and girly, but not too girly -- a little funky," she was quoted by Usmagazine.com as saying.

During the same interview, the actress also praised her husband for being very supportive and taking care of all her cravings.

"He goes and gets me all my little cravings like my frozen chicken pot pies and he cooks dinner for me and cleans up the house because I’m exhausted all the time. I’m like, 'I need a nap!' He’s really good about that," she said.

Sweetin and Herpin, who is her second husband, got married in July last year during an intimate Las Vegas ceremony, just weeks after meeting for the first time.

"Cody is my best friend. I married my best friend, and I couldn't ask for anything more. He's an unbelievable person," Sweetin told People at the time.
