Ex-Girlfriend Blames 50 Cent for Dix Hills House Fire

Shaniqua Tompkins, 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend and mother to his son, not only blames the famous rapper for being a bad father, but went so far as to say that she believes he’s behind the blaze that burned the luxurious Dix Hills home early Friday, The New York Daily News reported.

Yesterday, Tompkins returned to the burnt $1.4 million mansion, but she didn’t just retrieve some belongings from the scorched home, she also scorched her former boyfriend.

"Tell him to call his son!" said Tompkins, adding that 50 Cent – real name Curtis Jackson – didn’t even call his 10-year-old son Marquise to check if he was ok after the blaze.

"A good father would do that!" said Tompkins.

The speed and size of the flames that engulfed the Long Island mansion were called "definitely suspicious" by officials investigating the case and there’s no doubt in Tompkins’ mind that the one behind the arson is 50 Cent.

Investigators said a 5-gallon gas container was found near the Dix Hills luxurious home after it burned. The fire started at about 5 a.m.

"I know without a doubt in my heart it was him," said Tompkins about the Grammy-winning rapper she used to date.

However, the rapper was in Louisiana at the time of the fire and the authorities investigating the case haven’t even determined whether the fire was deliberately set yet.

The multiplatinum rapper’s lawyer, Brett Kimmel, was reached for comments, and he labeled the accusations as "outrageous and offensive," TMZ reported.

Last month, 50 Cent tried to evict Tompkins and their son from the Dix Hills home unless she paid a $4,500 a month rent. Tompkins, who was living there with her current boyfriend, countered by filing a Manhattan Supreme Court suit claiming she's entitled to half of 50 Cent's fortune.

50 Cent purchased the mansion in January 2007 for a reported $1.4 million.
