Police arrested two suspects in the Highway 101 shooting of
a Hells Angels motorcycle club associate.
William Crompton Maclean, 25, of San Leandro, which was returning from a Hells
Angels funeral, was shot dead on May 24.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Sgt. Keith Boyd of
the Marin County
sheriff's office said that Joseph Andrew Farnsworth, 19, of El
Cerrito and Jessica Andrea Gordon, 20, of Mill Valley
have been arrested. Farnsworth allegedly is the one who shot Mclean.
Friday, police found a 9mm handgun in Richmond, but it was too early to tell whether it
was the gun from the shooting.
Maclean was found dead, in a parking lot of Highway 101 near
Corte Madera. He had a gunshot wound. The victim was then transported to Marin General
Hospital and pronounced
dead.
He was a passenger in a white Chevrolet pickup truck which was riding in front of a group of Hells Angels Motorcycle Club riders.
The shooter was in a red sport utility vehicle, maybe a
Dodge Durango. The car was found at Gordon’s house. Police arrested her on Thursday.
Both Farnsworth and Gordon are at Marin County Jail. They
are expected to appear in Marin Superior Court on Tuesday morning.
Authorities said that the shooting was a case of road rage.
