Four Fresh New Releases From Sony Ericsson

Sony Ericsson just released its new C905 mobile Cyber-shot camera phone. With its 8.1 mega pixels and numerous photo-related features it could also be considered the other way around, as a photo camera with built-in communicating device.

The new release offers quad-band GSM/ tri-band UMTS/ HSDPA 850/ 1900/ 2100, a stereo Bluetooth, a useful TV-out and Wi-Fi with Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) support which allows a direct wireless transfer to TV.

The screen presents a 2.4 inch scratch-resistant QVGA display which will also help with other features besides the photographing sessions, such as the clear use of the incorporated GPS through Google Maps.

The phone’s center piece, its photo camera, offers the new Xenon flash, an image stabilizer, smart contrast, red-eye reduction, auto focus and also faces detection, in addition to its BestPic technology, video recording with stabilization and a very effective digital zoom of 16x.

The photos and videos are stored on a 2 Giga Bytes Memory Stick Micro (M2) and the announced battery life is at about 9 hours of conversation or 380 hours of standby.

Besides the C905 Cyber-shot, Sony Ericsson also released three other models. We’ll start with its F305, a gaming phone which will feature a motion sensing technology, enabling players to enjoy games such as Bowling, Bass Fishing and Jockey. It also carries a 2.0 mega pixels camera.

The other two cell phones are the J132 with a standby availability of 450 hours and a FM radio with loudspeaker and the K330, a camera phone with video capture, Bluetooth, FM radio and a feature called Health Mate developed to help users keep track of their calories consumption.

According to the company’s estimates, more than 100 million units were sold in 2007, putting Sony Ericsson in the top five most successful phone manufacturers in the world.
