Andrew Firestone, Former “The bachelor” Star, Is No Longer Bachelor

Andrew Firestone and Ivana Bozilovic got married this weekend. They’re no ordinary people: Andrew Firestone is the former star of the TV reality show “The Bachelor” and Ivana Bozilovic is a Serbian-born model. What a pair!

According to E! Online, the couple exchanged vows this Saturday at St. Mark’s in the Valley Episcopal Church in Los Olivos, north of Santa Barbara, California. Firestone’s family has a vineyard there.

The couple planned a three-day wedding party for their friends and families, including a Western-style barbeque. They were very happy and enthusiastic.

“We're so happy right now we can hardly stand it. It is so special to be able to share this momentous day with our family and friends,” said the couple in a statement, according to the New York Daily News.

The great-grandson of Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. funder Harvey Firestone surprised the model in September, on her 30th birthday, and asked her to marry him. They had been dating for about two years.

Andrew Firestone became more famous after the third season of the ABC reality series in 2003. At that time he got engaged to Jennifer Schefft, the series winner, but the relationship didn’t last. He was very affected by the break-up but he said that it turned out for the best. He said her wife made him be a better man.

Andrew Firestone gave Ivana Bozilovic a 2.5-carat engagement ring. Although she was born in Serbia, she grew up in Chicago.

“The Bachelorette” featuring DeAnna Pappas will air its two-hour finale Monday night. She has to choose between snowboarder Jesse and account executive Jason.
