Black Eyed Peas’ Taboo – real name Jaime Gomez – tied the knot on Saturday. The rapper married Jaymie Dizon at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Pasadena, Calif., according to People Magazine.
The rapper, who turns 33 years in two days, walked down the aisle of the church packed with family members and friends including his band mate Fergie and her actor fiancé Josh Duhamel ("Las Vegas," "Transformers"). Nevertheless, the ceremony at St. Andrews Catholic Church was actually quite intimate.
Will.i.am and Apl.de.ap were Taboo’s groomsmen at the ceremony, while the rapper’s best friend Polo Molina was the best man. The couple exchanged the diamond and platinum wedding bands, which matched the bride's Neil Lane engagement ring. The two newlyweds showed off their matching platinum and diamond rings as they were leaving the church.
The bride’s diamond engagement ring was reportedly purchased from exclusive jewellery store Neil Lane.
The married couple is reportedly on their way to a romantic honeymoon before Taboo gets back to work. He is currently working on his debut album which will be released later this year. The singer also stars in action movie “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li”. Will.i.am will be joining him at the movies as he is preparing for his big screen debut as mutant John Wraith in next summer’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”
