Tyra Banks Dreams Of Being in Michelle Obama’s Shoes

Tyra Banks dressed up as Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama for a recent photo shoot in Harper's Bazaar magazine. There also was a Barack Obama look alike by her side, and they were both dancing around an artificial White House.

In the Harper’s Bazaar interview, Banks says that, should the Obamas land in the White House, Michelle’s role is just as important as her husband’s.

The real Michelle Obama herself will appear on three magazine covers this month such as the cover of Ebony and with her husband, Barack, on the cover of ladies’ Home Journal.

Banks enjoyed being the first lady very much. “I think she actually could see herself in the White House,” said a friend of Banks. On the other hand Barack Obama admitted in the interview in Ladies' Home Journal, which hits newsstands August 17.

“Michelle is one of the smartest people I know. She is my chief counsel and advisor. I would never make big decisions without asking her opinion. Certainly about my career and my life,” said the Presidential candidate. So they both think highly of each other.

Banks also said in the interview: "When Barack won the nomination, I just started bawling," Banks says. "I started calling all these people, and everybody was talking to me like I was crazy. They’re like, 'Well, he hasn't won yet,' but I’m like, 'Yes, he has, because he's gotten this far.'"

This issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine hits news stands on August 19.
