Hollywood newcomers David and Victoria Beckham received a welcome-to-Los-Angeles party fit for stars Sunday evening at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary gallery.

The British couple’s new neighbors turned up to show them some neighborly friendliness. Among the guests were Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Bruce Willis, Brooke Shields, Wesley Snipes, Quincy Jones, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy.

According to the AP, the invitation read “Please join Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith in welcoming David and Victoria Beckham to Los Angeles.”

The Cruise and Smith couples organized the whole event for the international soccer superstar and his former Spice Girl wife.

The star-studded party came after Saturday’s game between Los Angeles Galaxy and Chelsea, Beckham’s first with his new team. Although Galaxy lost to Chelsea 1-0, fans were nevertheless happy to see their hero.

David, 32, even admitted he was “a little embarrassed” of all the cheering. His time on the field was limited due to his ankle injury.

The Beckhams arrived at Sunday’s bash with Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes, and Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Cruise interrupted work on his new film “Valkyrie” to fly to LA from Germany, according to media reports.

Other guests at the opulent party were Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx, Queen Latifah, Ron Howard, Eva Longoria, “American Idol” creator Simon Fuller (former manager of the Spice Girls), Matthew Perry and Jon Voight.

Legendary singer Stevie Wonder even regaled the British couple with a 15-minute singing treat that included his classic “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.”

Us Weekly reported Posh was especially impressed with Stevie Wonder’s generous gesture, telling pal Katie Holmes, “This is amazing! I can’t believe Stevie Wonder is singing!”

Will Smith himself did a bit of singing before the party wrapped up.
