Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, both exes of Pamela Anderson’s, had a little fight at the MTV Video Music Awards that got plenty of people excited.

Kid Rock was on the “Kevin and Bean” morning show on L.A.’s KROQ radio station when he said Tommy Lee was looking for trouble and deliberately irritating him, reports TMZ.com.

Kid said he was surprised to see MTV organizers had placed him close to both Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. The Mötley Crüe drummer was probably also confused and subsequently acted out on his feelings for Kid.

The “American Bad Ass” singer said Tommy took Pamela’s BlackBerry and started sending him obscene messages. “He was doing what he does best, talk,” Kid caustically commented.

Last Sunday, an off-camera fistfight between the two rivals inspired actor Jamie Foxx to quip, “Stop all this white-on-white violence.”

Rap producer Rich Nice apparently witnessed the sequence of events (which broke out during Alicia Keys’ performance) and said Tommy started the fight, while Kid Rock ended it.

“It looked like Tommy Lee initiated it because Kid Rock was ignoring him,” Rich Nice said. “And Tommy Lee kind of antagonized him. And then when Tommy Lee stood up, it looked a little weird, like, ‘Yo, what?’”

Then Kid Rock finally paid attention to the Mötley Crüe drummer, by backhanding him. “And then Tommy Lee looked like he was trying to get at him to aggressively retaliate and then Kid Rock hits Tommy Lee again -- bong.”

It ended with security guards separating the two and escorting Tommy out of the show room.

Tommy Lee released an apology to Alicia Keys Thursday, saying: “I would like to apologize to Alicia and George and MTV for the disrespectful bull caused by a piece of s— called Kid Pebble.”

This was apparently not designed to be an apology as much as a tirade at the expense of Kid Rock.

Things became even more enjoyable yesterday, when Vegas promoter Jeff Beacher offered $1 million dollars to stage a boxing match between the two artists.

Pamela and Tommy were married for several years during the 1990s and have two sons together. The sex symbol divorced Kid Rock earlier this year, after a short-lived marriage.
