Microsoft has recently released
the second pack of fixes for improving its latest operating system, Windows
Vista. It will be the operating system’s speed and reliability that will be
improved by these new fixes. The new release is the second one in only two
months!
The famous software making company
has launched in fact four separate updates that are already available for
downloading from Microsoft’s web site. They have as targets several performance
and stability problems of the new operating system, Windows Vista, and they
also deal with some Universal Serial Bus issues, as well as improve the Windows
Media Player and patch the Media
Center.
Microsoft has already prepared
its Windows Vista’s Service Pack 1 (SP1) for being tested, but it will still
continue to update the original operating system, which has been already dubbed
as “RTM” for “release to manufacturing”.
The widest ranging of the most
recent pack of four updates has been a 5.4 MB update, which targets many
hardware and operating system problems. Microsoft has said about it that it
even extends the laptops’ battery life, improves the stability of the wireless
network connections and as well deals with the compatibility problems that
appear with some antivirus software.
