Wow, it is so worth it to be a superstar at age 15 – wait,
almost 16. Ask Miley Cyrus, who celebrated her birthday weeks before the actual
date at Disneyland, in Anaheim,
California, surrounded by fans
who paid to attend and celebrities such as Cindy Crawford and Jennifer Love
Hewitt.
Fans who wished to celebrate Miley Cyrus’s Sweet 16 Birthday
Party paid $250 a ticket to attend the event organized at Disneyland, which had
both Miley and dad Billy Ray Cyrus perform on stage and rides such as Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean
open for as many excursions as one could take.
Miley’s admirers mingled with stars such as supermodels
Cindy Crawford and Tyra Banks, actresses Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jennie Garth,
actor Steve Carell and American Idol singer David Archuleta.
Miley’s special guests made their entrance at the event down
a purple carpet – the “Hannah Montana” star’s favorite color – while her
boyfriend, model and aspiring country singer Justin Gaston, joined the fete
more discreetly but played guitar when Billy Ray Cyrus sang his hit “Achy
Breaky Heart.”
The birthday girl, who turns 16 on Nov. 23, wore a short
ruffled white skirt and matching white vest with gold applications and was
clearly enjoying herself. She had received a puppy from her parents and was
over the moon.
The crowd sang Happy Birthday for her and the night ended
with fireworks.
Now that is a birthday party most of us mere mortals would
not even hope to experience in this lifetime, should a Disney extravaganza be
our taste. Then again, Miley Cyrus is Disney royalty. As the star of Disney
Channel’s “Hannah Montana” series, she has become an international star, one
whose concerts sell out weeks in advance, whose movies have fans queuing for
hours and whose albums sell in million of copies.
