Need For Speed Undercover. Need for Maggie Q

Electronic Arts decided to strengthen its upcoming Need for Speed Undercover storyline. After announcing that the next installment of the famous franchise will be available in the United States on November 18 and in Europe three days later, Black Box revealed that the game will feature seductive Maggie Q, probably best known for her roles in “Mission Impossible III,” “Live Free or Die Hard” and “Balls of Fury.”

Need for Speed Undercover will transfer players into a virtual world, dubbed Tri-City Bay Area, where they will be helped by FBI Agent Chase Linh (Maggie Q) so as to gain access to the underground racing scene in order to overturn an international crime syndicate.

Furthermore, Electronic Arts explained that the fast, mind-boggling chases and the world’s most powerful vehicles would come to light again with the fresh Need for Speed installment.

“Need for Speed Undercover features a deep and engaging story of spectacular Hollywood-style live-action that will transport players into the fictional world of the Tri-City Bay Area,” said Bill Harrison, Need for Speed Undercover Executive Producer, quoted by FOX Business. “Working with talent the caliber of Maggie Q allows us to deliver an unparalleled level of storytelling that will keep players engaged in between 180-mile an hour races,” he added, according to the same source.

Moreover, Maggie Q seemed very excited by the project, as it was something new to her. Who would have thought the movie and the gaming industries were only one step away?

“I’ve always been a fan of racing games and working on Need for Speed Undercover was an amazing experience,” said Maggie Q. “I was so impressed by the scope and quality of the overall production that goes into a videogame these days. It was like any other day on a Hollywood set; I felt right at home. The Black Box team is doing tremendous work here and I can't wait to see the final game.”

Need for Speed Undercover will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo DS, PC, as well as mobile devices.
