One Day Away From The Golf Masters

Tiger Woods presented yesterday a very sunny mood at the Augusta National Golf Club, a few days before the Masters kicks off. The 72nd Masters starts on Thursday and is expected by many to be Tiger’s fifth win of the tournament out of 14 appearances in the event.

Wood’s stats show him as the best golfer in the world at this point, with a career high of 64 victories out of 234 tournaments, throughout his 13 years in the PGA Tour, bringing his winning percentage to 27%.

A couple of months ago, Tiger Woods made a rather bold statement, considered by many a bit inappropriate, saying that winning all four majors this year would be “well within reason.” USA Today stated that Woods updated his affirmation saying "You've just got to win the right four. That's what it boils down to," and grounds his enthusiasm on his very impressive achievements saying "You have to understand why I said that. I've done it before. I've won four in a row."

In 2000, he won the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, the British Open at St. Andrews and the PGA Championship at Valhalla, and later on won the 2001 Masters to hold all four major championship titles at the same time.

The start is just one day away and everyone expects a good run, considering that Aaron Baddeley, Stephen Ames, Sean O’Hair, Ian Poulter, Andrés Romero, Adam Scott, Henrik Stenson and Boo Weekley will be joining Tiger in the event.
