A photographer is suing R&B singers Chris Brown and Rihanna for $1 million after their bodyguards beat him up in front of a night club, broke his $3,000 camera and caused him emotional distress.
The events took place on May 6th in front of a St. Petersburg club. Louis Santana, the photographer, said that the bodyguards tore off his shirt, knocked him to the ground and continually kicked him, injuring him and breaking his expensive camera. Among the accusations Santana also said that by breaking his camera the bodyguards made him lose some very important photos, crucial for his job as a journalist.
Kenneth Meiselas, Chris Brown’s attorney denies that the singer’s bodyguards were involved in the incident and waits for proof pointing otherwise. This is yet another incident pointing out both the excesses celebrities do and the fact that their intimacy is constantly at risk.
Being a celebrity today without a bodyguard is asking for trouble on purpose, as people are very curious and often go to incredible lengths to find out spicy details about their favorite stars’ personal lives. Chris Brown is an R&B singer, songwriter, actor and dancer, who made his debut in 2005 with his “Chris Brown” album featuring the hit single “Run It!.”
Rihanna is also a very famous R&B singer from Barbados, best known for her singing and modeling career. Rihanna debuted on the music scene in 2005 with her debut album entitled ‘Music of The Sun.” She released another two studio albums, “A Girl Like Me” and “Good girl Gone Bad.”
