A horrible discovery was made on Sunday, before 4 p.m, in a San
Clemente home. Five family members were found dead in
their Orange County
home.
Lt. Erin Giudice from the Sheriff’s Department said that authorities
believed that the bodies had been sitting in the house for about two weeks.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the police have found
two handguns in the room where the five bodies were discovered. One of the guns
was next to the body of a man who allegedly was shot. The other weapon was near
the body of a woman. Apparently they were a couple.
Giudice said that
there were no signs of forced entry and no object was missing from the house.
Police called fingerprint experts at the scene to help with
the identification of the decomposed bodies. The owner of the house was Manas
Ucar who was a consulting engineer and an expert witness for accident
investigations, reported OCRegister.
Although the autopsies of the bodies began on Monday
morning, Giudice said that the result would only be ready on Tuesday. Police
will also have then the identities of the dead family members.
The last time anyone had seen the family was about 2 weeks
ago. Some patrol cars drove by the house to see if everything was alright. The
officers did not stop because nothing seemed out of place.
The Sea Pointe Estates is a community of about 75 homes,
located in San Clemente, about 65 miles from Los
Angeles.
