The search for a missing pregnant woman whose due date is on Valentine’s Day has been suspended until investigators uncover new information.
Tierra Adams, 25, was last seen January 29 around 1 a.m. in northwest Houston when her boyfriend, Neriah Roberts left her on the side of North Houston Rosslyn Road after the two had an argument, the boy told Houston police, according to the Houston Chronicle. The fight started after Roberts caught Adams smoking drugs at his home. No evidence has turned up to accuse the boyfriend.
“I’m always going to have that hope that I find my child and my grandbaby alive. But every day that goes by it's always the other side you have to think of,” said Rose Adams on Monday at a northwest Houston church where volunteers have coordinated a search for her daughter.
Texas EquuSearch crews had been conducting ground and air searches for Adams before crews suspended the search.
“Being out here in the dark, you know, anything could have happened. And no one has seen here. There've been no tips or leads as to her being seen any place, and that bothers us,” said Frank Black with Texas EquuSearch.
Adams is black, 5 feet 6 inches and about 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing white Capri pants and a black-and-white shirt.
