Ashley Dupré is enjoying the spotlight once again. Although
reports have been circulating over the past week with regard to the call girl’s
appearance on ABC News’ “20/20” show, she decided to waste no time and offered
People magazine an interview as well.
Eliot Spitzer’s ex high-priced lover told the publication
that she was very touched when the former New York governor delivered his resignation
speech, but not by his humiliation. She informed People in an interview due to
hit newsstands on Friday, that she was overwhelmed by Spitzer’s wife’s
reaction, “her face, her eyes, the hurt.”
In addition, she said that if she had the opportunity to
talk to Silda Wall Spitzer, she would apologize for the pain she had produced.
Nevertheless, Ashley Dupré offered no information on the
events that took place inside Washington’s
Mayflower Hotel this winter, explaining that everything that happened in there
was “strictly business.”
The 23-year-old former prostitute told the magazine that she
had no idea who the much talked about “Client No. 9” really was until she saw
Eliot Spitzer on TV announcing his resignation because of the sex scandal.
Ashley Dupré’s interview with Diane Sawyer is scheduled to
air on Friday, November 21, and will give details on how a normal girl ended up
working as a high-priced call girl and on such women’s lifestyles. However, the
show is unlikely to reveal information with regard to the Spitzer affair, since
the subject will reportedly be discussed only to a certain extent.
