Suri Cruise has been photographed so extensively by
freelance photographed that really, any one of us could have an album of her
pretty face. Her celebrity, at the tender age of 2, and that of her parents,
has earned Suri the top spot on Forbes’ second annual list of “Hollywood’s 10 Hottest Tots.”
Forbes.com ranked celebrity children who have not yet turned
5 based on attention lavished on them by the media and their parents’
popularity. In the end, Suri Cruise had the most appearances in news articles
and blogs of all the 50 celebrity toddlers included in the study.
Born in 2006 to Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Suri was famous
before she was even born and her parents’ reluctance to show her to the world
during her first couple of months on this planet only helped entice the
public’s curiosity even more. Cute little Suri, with her shiny bob haircut and
her huge blue eyes has been photographed in the park with her mom, wearing
matching Halloween costumes, on the street holding both parents by the hand,
and in hundreds of other situations.
Last year’s number one, the blonde angelic Shiloh
Jolie-Pitt, slipped to No. 2 this year, although one can’t say the little girl
was not photographed amply this year as well. Shiloh,
2, is Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s first biological child. The couple
welcomed their second and third biological children, twins Vivienne and Knox,
in August of this year.
The following two places on the list are also occupied by members
of the Jolie-Pitt brood. Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 3, is in third place; and Pax
Jolie-Pitt, 4, is fourth on the list. Ethiopian-born Zahara was adopted in 2005
and Jolie later revealed she and Pitt, who had just begun their relationship,
decided together to adopt the little girl. The adoption of Pax Thien, who is
from Vietnam,
was finalized earlier this year.
Fifth place went to Sam Alexis Woods, the 1-year-old daughter
of Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin, while Cruz Beckham, the youngest son of soccer
star David Beckham and Spice Girl Victoria Beckham occupied the sixth position.
Matilda Rose Ledger, the 3-year-old daughter of Michelle
Williams and the late Heath Ledger, was seventh, followed by 3-year-old David
Banda, the adopted son of Madonna and British filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
Britney Spears’ eldest child with Kevin Federline,
3-year-old Sean Preston, took ninth place and Sam Sheen, daughter of actors Denise
Richards and Charlie Sheen, rounded up the top ten.
