A pizza restaurant clerk’s parents and husband planned and attempted to rob the place where the woman was working and the latter didn’t know anything about it.

According to police reports about the robbery attempt, Stephanie Martinez did not know her three close relatives were planning to rob the Pizza Patron Friday night in Denton. No charges are expected against the pizza restaurant clerk.

The woman found that it was her father who was trying to rob the place while the robbery was in progress. She realized it was her father when another restaurant clerk struck the man and knocked off his wig and sunglasses. Funny I know, but just the right spice to be added in a routine robbery so it can turn into national news.

In an interview with The Denton Record-Chronicle, Martinez said that she was trying to get the money asked from her by the robber when one of her colleagues, 17-year-old Rudy Sandoval, hit the robber knocking him out and, to her surprise, it was her daddy. The blow left the robber unconscious for a couple of minutes.

“Don’t hit him again! That’s my dad!" she said.

The video surveillance camera caught the scene on tape, but the footage ends after the robber is struck. However, the man fled the place after regaining conscience, but was later caught after witnesses followed the getaway pickup.

"Four different citizens helped out in this situation. We were able to get him into custody in about fifteen minutes," said Officer Jim Bryan of the Denton Police Department according to MyFoxDallas.com.

According to Sgt. James Brett, Martinez’s husband did know they were going to commit a robbery, but he did not know it was going to be his spouse’s work place. Mr. Martine thought it was going to be a convenience store, Brett said.

Jose Miguel Martinez, 26, was charged with aggravated robbery and he's free on $50,000 bail.
Benjamin Ramirez, 41, and Sonia Palacios, 38, are both facing charges of aggravated robbery. Bail was set at $50,000 each, but they are being held without bail on immigration violations.

Stephanie Martinez won’t be charged.

"We ... will not be filing charges against her," Brett said.
