Mötley Crüe is one of the most famous American heavy metal bands. It was formed in 1981, in Los Angeles, California. The band is formed by bass guitarist Nikki Sixx – also the founder of the band, famous drummer Tommy Lee, guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. The band managed to sell over 40 million albums around the world. The band is mostly notorious for their wild, hardcore lifestyle. They all sport numerous tattoos all over their bodies and have had more than a few unfriendly encounters with the law. Also, they have had addictions to alcohol and drugs, which they haven’t even tried to keep a secret. Moreover, they are famous for the countless escapades with various women.
One of the band’s hits, namely “Girls Girls Girls”, featured a strip club, called “The Body Shop.” The strip club, situated on the famous Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, was quickly inducted into pop culture after the Mötley Crüe’s video was shot there, and it became one of the most famous landmarks in Los Angeles.
Today, at around 6:45 A.M., the infamous strip club caught fire. After the emergency call was issued, it only took a few minutes for over a dozen fire trucks to get to the scene of the fire. About 40 firefighters were there, ready to fight the flames. The fire was covered live by local TV news choppers, which circulated the area to shoot the flames. By 7:43 A.M., the fire had successfully been extinguished by the Los Angeles firefighters.
There have been virtually no incidents, except a few minor scrapes sustained by two of the firefighters.
