The Discovery Of Bigfoot’s Body Was Just A Money Making Scheme

The saying What goes up must come down perfectly applies to people's enthusiasm with regard to the Bigfoot story. The subject has caused an incredible frenzy last week. As Friday’s press conference in Palo Alto, Calif. stirred things up even more and intensified the public’s anticipation, everything collapsed the moment an independent investigator discovered it was in fact a hoax.

Tom Biscardi, owner of SearchingforBigfoot.com, wanted to be the first to see the body and therefore paid an "undisclosed sum", which, is probably safe to say, must have been substantial, to the finders - Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer. Besides the frozen body, he also wanted the two to appear on film, for interviews and story telling.

After having made the payment, Tom Biscardi also sent detective Steve Kulls to Georgia to examine the body.

Once he got there, he could neither find the Bigfoot nor the two men. What he did find was a rubber Bigfoot costume. Last week, when commenting upon the publicly released images for FOXNews.com, Jerry Parrino, who owns the online Halloween costume store TheHorrorDome.com, said the body was definitely similar to the Sasquatch costume available in his store.

After discovering the fraud, Tom Biscardi contacted the alleged Bigfoot trackers at their California hotel and set up a meeting. Obviously enough, when the time came for them to face the consequences of their actions, the two were nowhere to be found. They had vanished and so had Tom Biscardi’s money.

Although everyone was quite hopeful, a lot of people, especially those who had read up on the subject, were expecting this to be a con and unfortunately, they were right.
